These cormorants seemed to be enjoying the setting sun on the old pilings along Sanford's Lake Monroe Waterfront. They are using these abandoned docks and pilings in large numbers. I just missed the bald eagles fishing according to another photographer who was there. Those eagles are nesting atop a cell phone tower on Hwy 17-92 at The Old Barn. It's a tall tower but with a good lens or binoculars you can get a glimpse of 2 eagle chicks.
