Barred Owl

This barred owl was having a difficult time keeping his eyes open in the middle of the day.  I'm not sure why he wasn't deeper in the swamp but it made for a nice photo opportunity.  The image was taken at the Palm Island Boardwalk in Mt. Dora, Florida.
