This is a panoramic view of the Wacahoota Florida methodist church and cemetery.  It is located southwest of Gainesville in one of the earliest areas of Florida to be settled, in other words it's not swamp land.  If you are into old Florida towns this is close to Micanopy and McIntosh.  You can find some really neat old houses and barns in the area, the difficulty is getting to them as most are on private property and may be partially screened by trees.  It's still a great place to get off of  I-75 and see some of the real Florida, at least what little is left of it.
