Carolina Wren
The Carolina Wrens have been nesting around my property for years. In the shed, under the deck and elsewhere. I don't remember where we picked up this old metal birdhouse in paint spattered sunflower design but I finally got around to hanging it on the deck close to the grill. The wrens moved in immediately and are growing accustomed to me standing a few feet away at the grill while they come and go. It's great fun to watch them from such a close vantage point.
