Ding Darling Sunset

I took this shot at Ding Darling on Sanibel Island Florida.  This is one of the premier birding sites in the state, especially in the winter.  The activity on the mud flats is amazing to watch.  I personally prefer Sanibel in the early summer because it is less crowded and the Gulf waters are perfect for swimming and shelling.  If you are interested in learning about Florida places and history I highly recommend you check out a page on Facebook called Authentic Florida.  It's full of info on places to go and things to do in this great state.
